The varsity boys defeated the Miami Valley Saints 74-68 on Tuesday night. The Blazers held a 40-34 halftime edge, but entered the 4th quarter trailing by 5. With snow falling outside, the Blazers heated up the net pouring in 25 points during the final period to pull out the 6 point victory.
Luke Tomlinson recorded a double-double with 17 points and 13 rebounds. The Blazers play next at home on Saturday versus Chappie James.
The Lady Blazers scored 47 points and held the host Miami Valley Saints to 21 in the Trailblazers non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Trailblazers now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Community Christian Academy for a non-league contest on Friday, December 2. Cincinnati Trailblazers Varsity Girls will confront a Crusaders team coming off a 79-40 league win over Danville Christian Academy (Danville, KY). The Crusaders record now stands at 5-0.

The U14 boys opened the day and their season with a victory over Bluegrass United 24-18.
We have a full day of basketball this coming Saturday! We travel to Lexington, KY to take on Bluegrass United, our friendly homeschool rival.

The MCHC Tip-off proved to be an exciting two days of basketball. The Varsity ended the weekend at 2-1 and the JV came home with a 1-1 record. The Varsity defeated Rockford Fire and Huntington Eagles, but lost to Capital Chariots. The JV beat Noble-Whitley Warriors and lost to the Illinois Crusaders. Both teams played hard until the final buzzer.
Next games are on this coming Saturday, November 19, versus Bluegrass United in Lexington, KY. Besides the Varsity & JV boys games, the U14 boys, JV girls, & Varsity girls will be playing their first games of the season. First game starts at noon (U14 boys).
