Join the “Blazers” for our spring volleyball clinic with coach Kristin Leggett!  Bringing her experience as a collegiate player and her love of home schooled (ALL) girls, Kristin aspires to encourage YOU to love playing volleyball, too!  It’s designed to teach beginners the basics of the sport, as well as reinforce and refresh the skills of players with more experience.  There will be drills, skills and games.  The Trailblazers are excited to invite home schooled girls from 4^th through 12^th grades! Bring a friend, too!  Do not delay and SIGN UP TODAY!!!

Registration Procedure

1. Email Kristin Leggett (KKL8662@cinci.rr.com) with your player’s intent to attend including name and age/grade and player level (i.e. Beginner/Elementary (4-6^th grade), Junior high player, Junior Varsity player, Varsity player) Please sign up for their current grade!
2. Forms and checks must be completed and brought in on the first day of the clinic.

Clinic Location: Kids First on East Kemper!

Schedule: April 2, 9, 16, 23, 30, May 7

Session 1 (4-6^th and beginners) 2-3:15pm,

Session 2 (7-12^th) 3:15-5pm

Cost: $60/4^th-6^th (and junior high beginners)

$65/7^th-12^th grade players

Join us for an end-of-season celebration! During this time we will share a meal, recognize each team, and say goodbye to our graduates.

We have carefully counted the names, so if each family will bring the item listed, we should have some great food to share.

The volleyball season wrapped up with a lot of exciting action in the Urbana Tournament. The Varsity Lady Blazers earned second place in Division 1 while the JV Lady Blazers took fourth in Division 2.

Mary Beth Bewley, Valerie Bacon, and Mattie Jones earned All-Tournament Team spots as the Varsity handily won their first two matches before falling to Urbana in close games during the Division 1 Championship match. Mattie Jones also won the Spiking Award during the individual skills competition.

Betsy Walsh earned a spot on the Division 2 All-Tournament Team as the JV team kept their matches close and exciting. Mary Schneider won the Serving Award during the individual skills competition.

Both the Varsity and JV Lady Blazers brought home the Division 1 and Division 2 Sportsmanship Awards.

Congratulations and thank you to all the Lady Blazers players, coaches, and parents! Well done!

The varsity girls played superbly to defeat the Marion Lady Hawks 2-0. Their next game is for the Division 1 championship.

After rising before the sun, the girls put up a fierce battle against Bluegrass United. After losing the first game, the girls pulled it together to win the second game. The third game was close but the Bluehawks prevailed. The JV Lady Blazers will be playing for 3rd place of Division 2 starting about noon.

The varsity girls team played great and won their first match. They will play again tomorrow morning at 10am in Division 1.

The JV girls played hard but lost their first match. They will play tomorrow morning at 8am in Division 2.
