Basketball Registration for Boys

Registration for boys basketball is in process. 

Parents and Players
You probably are about to begin your 2018-2019 school year. And the beginning of a school year means that the Basketball Season is right around the corner. 

There is much excitement for the upcoming season. The boys walked away from Nationals with two Silver Balls(18U and 14U) and one Gold Ball(16U)—hopes and expectations are high. Also, we are picking up a decent number of younger boys. As of right now, we have about 14 players ranging in ages from 8 to 12. With a few more, we can have both a 12U and a 10U team. We have one coach—but could use maybe one or two more.

There are a couple of things I want to communicate:

1. The biggest is this—We need you to register. It will take about 30 minutes. Because we are ordering new uniforms (and with personalized jerseys) we need to know who is playing. Uniform orders need to be in by the first week of September.

Poetically speaking: no register=no uniform. 

2. The second biggest thing is similar to the first biggest thing—We need you to register. 

3. And lastly, but not really last—because everyone knows how much we like to look good—We are getting new uniforms. I can’t wait for you to see them.

I am attaching season schedules for the 16U and 18U team. There may be some changes, but for the most part the season is set. Younger teams will get schedules once the SWOB League sends them.

Here are some dates to mark down:
October 15-Practice begins for 18U and 16U boys (5:30-7:30pm)
October 29-Practice begins for 14U, 12U and 10U boys (4:00-5:30)
November 10-First game of season in Lexington (Bluegrass Bluehawks)
